ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN SERVICES
Hyatt’s Architecture and Design Services team enhances the guest experience through the authentic and informed design of functional hotel products that reflect the identity of each brand in the portfolio. We employ imagination, creativity, innovation and rigor to enable productivity and promote relaxation in stylish environments suited to the consumer segments we serve across each of the brands.
The team is composed of four disciplines: Architecture and Design, Engineering and Information Technology, Operations Planning and Project Management. These disciplines are involved in the planning, design and construction phases of each hotel project.
Architecture and Design
The Architecture and Design team’s main objective is to help the owner and the owner’s consultants plan and design Hyatt hotels that are both stunning and efficient. Our diverse group of design professionals holds distinct educational backgrounds and professional expertise in architecture, interior design and hotel operations.
Engineering and Information Technology
The Engineering and Information Technology team is responsible for ensuring that all building services, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, communication, data, security and life-safety systems, are designed, installed, commissioned and operated properly and efficiently. With diverse backgrounds in hotel operation, engineering, design and building systems, this talented team assures all Hyatt standards are rigorously upheld.
Operations Planning
The Operations Planning team is composed of global industry experts who have a deep understanding of Hyatt hotel operations, as well as exposure to diverse operational experiences around the world. The team constantly works to ensure operational competencies and enhance our properties’ performance.
FF&E Project Management
The FF&E Project Management team was created to facilitate project coordination and assure a seamless transition from the construction phase to the hotel opening. The team is made up of skilled individuals with a variety of backgrounds in operations, project management and procurement. They work in parallel with the consultants and the rest of the Architecture and Design Services team to ensure that every detail of the design intent and operation planning is carefully executed.
